  • Description: Computer evolution started with vacuum tubes (1940s), which were large and slow. Transistors (1950s) made them smaller and faster. Integrated circuits (1960s) combined components on a chip, boosting efficiency. LSIC and VLIC (1970s onward) shrank sizes further and increased power, leading to today’s fast, compact devices. Each stage marked a leap in technology, shaping modern computing.
